What our customers are saying:
5 Stars – Oak and earthy tones, full bodied, smooth tannins. Definitely a bottle I would buy again -Ana R.
Critical Acclaim:
Chocolate aromas and flavors ooze from this full-bodied, mouthfilling wine, layering over good plum and blackberry tones. Cocoa, vanilla bean and ultradark chocolate dominate the palate while mostly soft tannins keep the texture loose. JIM GORDON

Vineyard Sources:
SIERRA FOOTHILLS AVA, CALIFORNIA
60% Zinfandel
Lauzere Vineyard, Shenandoah Valley AVA
As Shenandoah Valley is the least elevated
AVA in the region, it has the warmest
climate, making it ideal for growing
Zinfandel. The fruit here is able to develop high
sugar levels to produce full-bodied, spicy
wines. Lauzere Vineyard is made of
sandy-loam and granitic soils which add
incredible richness to our Red Blend.
18% Syrah – 10% Petite Sirah
Element 79 Vineyard, Fair Play AVA
Just south of Placerville, at an elevation of
2400 ft (!) you will find the Fair Play AVA. High
mountainsides and deep granite soils
develop grapes for intense wines. It’s
astounding to us that this area has been
growing incredible wine grapes since the
California Gold Rush, yet it is still a relatively
unknown, an untapped goldmine of high quality
fruit!
12% Barbera
Rorick Heritage Vineyard – Calaveras AVA
